Mountain West Invitational

It was a banner day for the Hawks at the Mountain West Invitational in Missoula, where they faced a record 69 teams from the Northwest.  The girls reinforced their #1 ranking in the region with a winning score of 46 points, followed by #2 ranked Couer d’Alene ID (97 points) and Sehome WA.  The girls put all 5 scorers in the top 15 and set a new record for the state meet course with a 1-5 average of 18:10.4 (!)  The JV girls had another big win with 29 points against a huge field, followed by Sehome WA.

The boys placed second behind Montana rivals Glacier.  With the return of Colter May (with a win in the JV race today ) and Hunter May (sitting out until next week) they are well positioned for the rest of the season.  The JV boys also took second, to Hellgate.

  1. where can we find the results from Billings?

    • For those results that don’t make the paper usually Coach Elizabeth Fulton gets them to me the next week. I did do a search last Friday and didn’t find anything online.

  2. Thanks Nancy for all your work in keeping us updated.
